I recently bought a 2022 grom and installed the zoom brute. It is performing poor with this exhaust. So I wanted to reset the ECU but it does not work. I used a paperclip and looped the green and blue wire. I open throttle and insert the key and turn the key. Engine light does not blink at all.

The first time I tried I wasn't jamming the paper clip in far enough, maybe that could be the issue.

With a combination plier I pushed the paperclip in as far as possible.

If your doing it like this you must not be making a good connection with the paperclip. I personally had an issue when the killswitch was set to the top of the switch( kill engine).Switched it to the bottom ( start engine) and no issue.

Killswitch is on “start”. I think my ecu has a code and needs to be flashed first.

I have the same problem the light doesn’t blink at all neither if I try to clean the codes and there is no error codes to clean. did you resolve this issue?

I could not reset because there was something wrong with my bike at the time.

The CEL was on with 7 blinks. I replaced eot sensor and it was fixed

Interesting. It’s weird I can’t reset my ECU or clear codes (don’t think it has any). When I try to use the jumper wire my CEL just stays solid.

Are you not getting the confirmation?
Do you have CEL on? If you don't have CEL on nothing is wrong with your bike.

Actually, ECU reset is this one. The one above is TPS reset procedure.
