If you haven’t, try searching the forums for api tech, there’s someone on here that was using that ECU but I cannot remember who.

If I can ever get home to finish a few harnesses & solidify the base tune I’ll be selling some truly plug and play Microsquirt conversions! (I made an initial teaser post in the performance section.) My job has had me on the road a heck of a lot recently...

I have the Yuminashi v9.1 (made by APi), it is a really good unit with lots of features you would have to spend a small fortune to have from other "name brands", but the tuning program and the Android app both leave a lot to be desired. They are super glitchy, and there is little to no support when you have questions. I would imagine, support would be better if I spoke the language or lived in Taiwan, LOL..... I have found that contacting them is easiest on Facebook also, they seem to only answer or look at e-mails 1-2 times a month if that.

Fom the lack of respones, no one here has used what you're looking for yet. I had the same experience as the first one to try a Yuminashi. Why not get an API TECH and review it?

I looked in to the ECU you have...seems its like the OE bit. How do you know if its working? It would be nice to see what parameters it was changing real time...ever had it on the Dyno?

All I know is by how the bike runs, which for my uses is perfect. whenever I make changes the ECU fishes around for an idle and the engine runs ok but weak. Then with each successive ride the engine runs stronger until after about 3 rides it runs really good. There's no ECU reset and no fast idle. Upon cold start, it idles slow but rich and doesn't die. I ride over the same winding canyon roads every day and gauge performance by them because they never change. I also log gas mileage for any changes in the average over a few accumulated fill ups to smooth out any variations.

Not yet.

I contacted a local dyno tuning shop 40 miles away asking for a bid on a set of three runs for a baseline but they didn't answer my email. There are very few shops around where I live and I don't want to have to ride over 50 miles just to get to one. I'll try by phone to see if they'll talk to me.
