I liked the sticker on the swing arm that read: PROPERTY OF HONDA, NOT FOR SALE
I hope he is wrong about the tail tidy and the oem blinkers.
Good find SS, I'm sure Composimo got it right as he has an msx for fitment testing.. I have one on my coffee table and it's a nice piece.

Are you sure? This is the kind of news that this forum would be all over. Would have been helpful if you had taken some pics to prove it.
Yeah there's pics on Instagram of a red one inside some show, also there are more just no photos.. I'd say this was probably the first publicly displayed by Honda since there was one on a Ruckus ride back in mid May
If there were 2 at a show yesterday, I'm just befuddled as to why nobody pulled out their phone and snapped some pics to post on the interweb. A google search brings up very little for any event "Tucker Rocky Parts".

Im not fat. I have a thyroid condition.

If you say so. The Honda guys at the MotoGP told me this was the only one in the country and it will also be at the MotoGP in Indy in a couple of weeks. Perhaps they are mistaken.

Anyway its no big deal. Its totally possible that these Honda guys are responsible for only this group of bikes in their coral that tours around to races and shows and that they are unaware of what other Honda promotional displays are out there.
Also idk if it was explained over on planet minis but the Vin is ML which is Thailand, the first 1 to 2 digits are its origin

Me too. It looks like the stock blinkers could be just a bit too wide on that side. You can see pictures on Composimo website that show how close it is and the lights they show are not the same as the ones I sat on. Maybe the MSX lights aren't as wide as the U.S. model Grom lights...? The fix will probably be to just get some shorty blinkers, if not a low pipe.

I doubt they're mistaken, it's probably just what was told to them by their rep, if its the "first and only" then where did the black one come from in the promo vid that was filmed in California? But like said it really isn't a big deal, the point is Honda has them in the publics eye now and we're only a month from having them in our hands :hallelujah:
When I worked at American Honda in Torrance they had bikes in the fleet for testing and press use that were pre production bikes. Often we would have an unreleased model that would need miles, I rode several of the 900rr's before they were out in public. New models came in regularly well before the press knew about them. Those bikes were kept separate and secret from the regular fleet. I know there is at least one grom in California at Honda that they have likely let the press take photos of and test. The Grom is so close to release that the magazines will have road tests ready for print when the Grom is released.

The Groms are already here.

I'm pretty sure there are several of them. As for California Grom they need to be tested for clean air "smog test" and also the "DOT" headlights. Can't even change Muffler as of Jan 1, 2013 for noise issues. Possibly crash test this Grom. Who knows, California has too many rules and regulation and Oh ya taxes. At least Grom is going to be in California. Happy for that!
