Went to the honda shop and said "How much is the Grom?" Salesman "msrp is 3200.
I said "How much out the door" he said 4600. That's 1400 in tax title license and dealer mark up.

there are groms out there .. just spend the time calling around and you will find them at a fair price

Wildhorse is right. Spend 20 minutes on the phone and you will find a dealer that will treat you right, and then you have plenty of extra money for mods.

Call around, especially any powerhouse dealers near you. Groms are still scarce, but not impossible. I called the local shops, no luck, one that was like an hour away claimed to be getting one in the next week or two so I left my name and number (never got a call), called a powerhouse, they didn't have any at the moment, but said they'd call as soon as they had one not spoken for. Left name/number, like a week later I got a call.

Its strange that the US market is still struggling, you would think honda would ship more to bigger countries. It seems theres a load here in the UK both new and second hand.
