Custom Exhaust?

Anyone make their own or have any useful information?

I took a look at mine and seems like 1 inch diameter mating up with the motor....the pipe does look thicker there so I wasnt sure if a normal piece of 1 inch pipe with the flange welded to it would seal up fine or what.

I'm doing just that. I'll be damned if I'll pay $400+ for a 1" o.d. pipe that flows into a 1.25" o.d. pipe before exiting into the muffler that doesn't fit the frame angle as it should.

Seeing is that all other pit bikes use a 1" o.d. piping from the get go, it is counterintuitive to "upgrade" to just that when there's already talk if BBKs and strokers.

Larger displacement pit bikes, 140-190cc, use a 1.50" muffler.

Lol yea...seems crazy, It seems like the piping drops down to 3/4 inch right after the 1 inch flange or w/e.

Im thinking like 2 foot of 1 inch piping, weld a flange and mounting bracket maybe. Figure out some sort of tip/ muffler. Would think it could be done 100-150 bucks.
