I was installing a new cam chain tensioner and when i was putting everything back together went a little to tight on one of the crank case bolts and slightly fractured the case. Is this going to be a major issue ?

yep usually what happens when people remove the left side flywheel cover, there is two bolts that is shorter than all the other bolts. These two bolts should be installed on the first two forward upper bolt holes. You might be able to save the case with some modern type JB weld or stuff like that, main thing is not to lose oil from the case.

If you only cracked the cover, they're less than 20 bucks new... a tube of JB weld is almost that much. Buy a new part and just chalk it up to a lesson learned.

If it's the actual crankcase you're in it for about 100-120 and much more labor.
