I was installing a new cam chain tensioner and when i was putting everything back together went a little to tight on one of the crank case bolts and slightly fractured the case. Is this going to be a major issue ?
yep usually what happens when people remove the left side flywheel cover, there is two bolts that is shorter than all the other bolts. These two bolts should be installed on the first two forward upper bolt holes. You might be able to save the case with some modern type JB weld or stuff like that, main thing is not to lose oil from the case.
Tell me about your experiences with the Takegawa 4th Crank Support Bearing.
Is it worth it?
I’ve done searches and opinions seem mixed. In one thread, Cisco says he was removing his, then at a later date in another thread, he said he was reinstalling it.
Do you need to drill the oil passage...
I wanted to hear your opinions about the EBC clutch springs. People refer to these springs as 15% “stiffer” all the time on this forum. The package says, “15% Stronger Than Original Parts”. I’m not convinced that the EBC springs are any stiffer than the stock springs.
Now I’m not an engineer...
I've Just ordered myself a Takegawa clutch cover, Takegawa Oil pump (from straight up pumps), and a Big oil cooler (didn't come with oil lines or fittings)
I'm planning on making my own lines but I don't know what size is appropriate?
Also If anyone knows what size banjo bolts come...
Has anyone looked into the anf125 as a cheaper option for a higher torque starter motor. Recently installed a 186cc bbk and the oem starter seems to not have enough to kick it over from time to time. 40 bucks sounds alot better then 130 for a starter.
