Love my new seat! I was fortunate enough to lend Corbin my bike as the prototype for seat production. I am happy to say that Corbin has done it!! After Corbin was finished with my bike in R&D I came in to get my seat, while I was there I had custom shaping and was able to choose the cover of my choice. I am extremely pleased with its comfort and looks. Vehicle Motorcycle accessories Tire Automotive exterior Automotive tire

Ask them about the light Gray"Grey"snake skin design Grom seat they are making for me???????

Congrats, give a update on the seat comfort, I was down at Hollister Honda last week picking up my spare Grom wheels, rear hugger fender and head light cover that will be painted before my Grom comes in Jan/Feb 2014

I was going to lend them my 1999 Hayabusa so they could make a custom Hayabusa seat back in 1999 since I have s/n 21 off the production line but I chicken out because they wanted a busa to be kept there for a week while they did fit and R/D. Someone else loan them their Hayabusa. The Hayabusa was a new motorcycle back in 1999 I wanted to get a lot of seat time on that motorcycle before I decided to sell my 1989 GSXR-1100 and my 1998 Suzuki TL1000R.

I did order a hayabusa seat for a guy in Florida since he did not know anyone in California that could eye ball one in person so I went down to Corbin looked at one and I told the guy in Florida it looked great and he said to go and get it and ship it to him which I did.

Check out Corbin.com.. They show a few options on the Grom, as far as different ideas for seat covers, but true to any Corbin saddle they have a huge variety of leather and vinyl to choose from..

looks very good. cant wait to hear of pricing, and hopefully some material options. I like what im seeing, just not a fan of the faux fiber.

Got a price, it's around $300. Pricy, but a really nice seat that should last a very long time. I'm in to have a custom color scheme made for mine. After this seat I'll have about $3000 into my Grom. Kinda makes me sick to think about.

Very nice looking seat. I would recommend Corbin. I have one on my WR250X and all I can say is that it's way more comfortable than the stock one. Very comfy for those extra long rides.

If you don't need it don't buy it, you should only buy things that you can afford and spend money on to make you happy.

Now take marriage your stuck and YES MONEY does go down the drain, either by HER or by HER unless you married Paris Hilton or Jlow or Taylor Swift.

Well I can afford it no problem. Im just addicted to motorcycles in general, its my life and it makes me happy. Sometimes i just loose track of how much and when i add it up I'm surprised. At least i have something to show for it. All the bikes I've restored and custom built are how i express myself and I'm proud of it. Im lucky to have the financial means to do it.

Now that is the spirit and thinking, same with me, I love to buy stuff for my motorcycles, jetski, bicycle, skateboards, guitars, ukuleles, flutes, guitar amps and the list goes on and I also like to help out other people.

Money, you can't take it with you when you die so enjoy it.

Congrats and Ride safe.

Wow, don't get me started with guitars, i went through that phase, then building home theatre speakers and designing crossovers. I even got a audio spectral analyzer setup to measure frequency response. I then got into building op amps from scratch then laser drivers, then Arduino learning how to write code to make my own projects. Now its motorcycles and powder coating. I designed and built my own 6'x3'x3' oven and iron phosphate coating system, i use it all the time. Maybe I was an engineer in a previous life, but i cant get enough. My next project is to buy a milling machine and convert it to cnc. Unfortunately there is just not enough time in this life to learn everything i want to.

I think Sergeant is also making seats for the Grom, they are in the same league as Corbin, but I don't think they have quite as many color choices.
