If I were to change up my headlight it would have to be for those 6 bulb led units from rigid industries. I have them on my f350 and they are so bright they wash out my headlights. Not to mention they draw nothing at all.

I agree I have them on my excursion. However it looks alright on something that doesn't have that many cures. And I guess it's all about how well it's mounted too.

Stroked_GE nailed it... with the front end this low, the stock light doesn't fit at all... and i didn't want to just put a basic round headlight up there or anything... that'd be too "easy", and imho, a round headlight does not match the flow of the rest of the bike... maybe if you put rounded/cafe-style bodywork on it or something, but not with the edgy/angled bodywork the Grom has.

Like any modification out there, it definitely isn't for everyone... lol! For this particular project, working with Rigid gave the perfect opportunity to get these lights on the bike. The aluminum sides CAN actually be painted/powder coated for those that don't like that part, and that's the plan, but i need to see what the bike looks like after the new paint job its getting before i do that, because the silver color may go better with it.

But don't worry, its going to be even more crazy here soon after paint, and it'll have even more things for everyone to hate on... hahaha!

It was rushed together for that show, so the lights hadn't been wired yet... but the new setup should be installed this week, and my wiring guy will be here... so he'll be able to wire them up, and i'll do a light test showing how it does with one, two, and (maybe) three of them :p hahahaha!

Oh, by the way, be VERY afraid of the very cheap lights that are being sold for the Ruckus market that look like the Rigid setups... lots of copies out there that don't light up the same, and don't really last that long, and are also much bulkier than the real Rigid setups... sure, they are a little bit less expensive, but the real Rigids are very much worth their price IMHO.
