I don't have any pics, and I am currently at work, but I will try to remember how it worked. Here we go...

You should have 2 bolts (if I remember correctly), 2 nylock nuts, and a spacer piece. After you remove the lower shock bolt, take the bracket and place it so that the holes on the sides line up with the holes that the shock originally mounted into. Take the spacer and install it in the gap where the factory shock was sitting. I believe you will use the larger nut and bolt here. Once you do that you will notice a small hole in your new bracket that is sitting against the factory shock tab. You will need to drill through the factory shock mount tab and secure the pieces together with the smaller of the two bolts that came with your kit. Then you should be able to reattach your shock to it's new location using the factory hardware. I hope this wasn't too confusing. I was just trying to help you out without making you wait 9-10 hours for me to get off of work to produce some pictures. If I can help you out with any further explanation, just let me know. As I said, it is kind of difficult to explain without photos. My apologies.

Pretty much what laidoutchevy said. It's simple to figure out once you start putting the piece on the bike.

well damn how was I supposed to know to do that loll, mine came with no instructions and they have nothing on the website....
I also recently just purchased the stretch but with the 6" lowering link. This is the first I'm hearing about having to drill a hole in the frame. When a part needs this heavy of a modification(drilling through frame) then directions are definitely greatly appreciated. I'm pretty good with my sh*t and sure I COULD figure it out but it should not be that way. There should be atleast some sort instructions so I can read in advanced and see what kind of prepping I need to do or the tools I need to gather. give us a freakin picture or two. I hate to say it but I'm losing faith.

Yeah, once I put the pieces to the bike I realized what I needed to do. I don't think anyone's came with instructions. And last time I checked, the only instructions on his website regarding the stretch and lowering kit, were for the installation of the stretch. I hope it goes smoothly for ya. I used a Stanley bit and I didn't have any issues getting through the swingarm bracket.

yeah I had to ask Ed cause he was already stretched with the lowering link. I too didn't know how to do it, I tried getting ahold of composimo but he didn't answer emails, or calls, or return voicemails left... still waiting to hear his take on a kickstand issue... just want some freaking customer service to back his products is all... especially since i've spent a lot of my $ on his products.

I don't understand how anyone could have so much trouble installing it? It can only go on one possible way. It can't go on backwards and if it's put on upside down then the shock won't go on.

Hey guys... I'm not to sure what the confusion is with getting a hold of me... I'm definitely not "bullshitting" anyone... Lol! Please remember that this is not some huge company or anything, and I am not always by the phone during the day since I am usually out in the shop making parts, packing, shipping, etc.

anyway, it was my original intention to do a how-to on the rear link then ext time I had a Grom in the shop and could shoot he drilling ofth e hole... However by the time that happened, the Billet rear shock mount was already in development, and I have a Grom in the shop now that I will be doing a how-to on installing that instead since the steel mount that requires drilling is no longer being made.

between Facebook, Instagram, phone, email, text, etc I am very easy to get a hold of... If you called and didn't leave a message, I'm sorry, but as stated before, I am not by my phone most of the day.

anyway, it seems that the question here has been answered, but if there are any other questions, please let me know. Thanks!
