*SOLD*

I've flipped back & forth a number of times over whether I want to sell this kit or not, but finally decided I'm going to go big with a 250+ cc engine swap when the time comes. It comes with everything you need, including the API-Tech programmable ECU. Has been run for a short time, but as you can see in pics it's practically brand new. Ring gaps are set, new gaskets included, it's ready to bolt on.

I want to get $550 + shipping, it's a great deal for what you get so please don't low-ball me, thank you. Otherwise I would have started at $600 + shipping :)

So it's not broken in, what's the rated top speed with this setup in stock gearing? I'd be satisfied if I could cruise at 70-75 mph, not bouncing the rev limiter.

That's correct, not broken in yet.

Personally, I'd go to a 16 tooth sprocket in the front, and you'll have no trouble hitting those speeds. I know with stock gearing, the rev limiter hits at about 71-72 mph. The rev limit is extended with this kit, but... Not sure I'd recommend that for long periods of cruising :)

I don't think you'd have trouble hitting those speeds though, guys are hitting 70+ with a cam, intake and exhaust. This is putting out at least another 3 or 4 horsepower on top of that.

I will lower the price if you're willing to send me a stock seat as a partial trade?

Basically I decided I'd rather just go big. Wish I had more power than the 153 puts out, + I like the idea of 6 gears + the reliability of a stock engine and ease of finding replacement parts with an engine swap. I'm a welder by trade, so I'm not afraid of doing some frame & even gas tank modification if it comes to that. I'm just waiting for a used CBR or Ninja 250/300 to come up for a really good price near me, I think after parting the rest of the bits out I can make the swap happen for a "relatively" minimal investment. If I treat my time as free that is, lol.
