I tried a search with no luck (sorry if this has been asked) just wondering how far you have to let out clutch lever before it engages, on mine you have to let out almost all the way before it engages so I'm wondering if this is how all groms are or does it need adjusted its been like this since day 1 I have just over 400 miles on it, from my experience most bikes engage before the half way mark mine is more like 85-90% out.
Thanks in advance

There are 2 adjustments. clutch perch, which is more of your final tweaking. And the clutch line adjustment just above the right side case. Make sure your clutch perch adjustment is bottomed out/run all the way into the perch to start.

Then loosen the 14mm nut at the back of the bracket while holding the front 11/12mm (forget). You want to tighten the front most nut IN so to tension the cable that goes into the clutch arm. Do it while your bike is running and in neutral, then try engaging first and letting out the clutch until you feel it grab slightly. You want to take the slack out, but not so much that the clutch would be engaging/dragging. Then after you are happy with your lower adjustment, you can run the clutch perch adjuster out to dial in your setup.

Mine was crap out of the box, along with the bars being swept back like a CRF50. LOL. Definitely needs some tweaking to get it normalized.

Mine was the same with I picked it up. It feels better now but I have swapped the clutch lever and messed with the adjustment as described above. Not sure if I fixed it or if I have just gotten used to it.

Ya I did some levers when I put all the mods on the other weekend and between the cable adjustment, and the new adjustable levers it is perfect. But even without a nice set of levers this is definitely one of those tweaks I bet every bike needs when the come out of the crate.

Hey BadAss - I attached a pic... is this the process you're explaining? My clutch make noise every time I switch from 1-2 and 2-1.. clunk galore... I will tighten my chain first and see.

LOL yeah thats a pretty good run down I would say. I like my clutch to grab pretty close so I can just use 1 finger. But you can make it grab just about anywhere you want. If youre having engagement issues it takes about 3 min. to check/set
