I am just shy of 300 miles and putting a new complete exhaust system on. I have noticed a lot of folks are not replacing their exhaust gaskets and was wondering what would prompt you to go ahead and change it. When I dropped my header the gasket stuck to the motor and is still in one piece and pretty uniformly crushed but a little messy looking (kind of like the oem header was walking around just hair on there). I cleaned up some of the uneven metal flashing of the gasket and was going to reuse it. Here's a picture of it before I cleaned it up. What would you folks do just reuse it or wait and get a new one?

Thank you
shawn

you SHOULD use a new one, its a crush gasket and usually good for a 1 time use, you probably can reuse it 1 time, but if you overtorque that flange, it wont seal properly the second time
