Be careful when removing the nuts under the seat for the fender, the dam nuts can go right into the rear frame tube and are a bitch to get out. Need to visit lowes to see if there is a plug cover thats fits easy. Took me 15 min to get the dam thing out.
Careful when installing fender eliminator!!

I used a coat hanger from the bottom and pushed it up, pretty easy.

That happened to one of the washers on mine. It just fell out the front and all I did was swear real loud at it. There must be something in there that prevents the bigger nut from falling out the front.

one side, i forget which one, but the nut fell out. other side i jus lifted it up. another good thing about having a rear hand brake.

I learned from riding scoots that hands are far more articulate than foots - especially for finessing your traction using a handbrake on the rear.
