Got some paint done. Custom yamaha pearl white with more gold and some gloss black

I was going to wait with the levers until I changed the handlebars... But couldn't wait!

Finally some progress
Got the swing arm back today and started test fitting it with a colleague to determine how low I wanted it.

Also planning to reuse parts of the hugger / chain guard. Just need to cut it down.

Don't like them, but haven't yet found any rear sets I like either so I'll just powdercoat them black as for now..

Isn't the composimo stretch made in aluminum? If it is you can anodize it black (don't know if I spelled that right). Made the front forks on my Yamaha R1 build red and it held up great.

I'm guessing that you'll need to upgrade the rear shock with a stretch like that? What are you going to get? Ohlins?

Some days are just better than others
Started the morning by collecting all the parts from powder coat... Here is the extended swing arm:

Then two packages arrived.

And the second (finally!) from Thailand:

Time to get the rims painted and gold leafed so we can get this ride rolling again
