Here's my build thread. I received it just yesterday, driving 1.5 hours to pick it up. Honestly, I have no idea what I want to do with it yet. Whatever I do, it will probably be slow and methodical...just the way I am. Here's the starting point in my garage:

Since this picture, but still on the first day, I've dropped the oil @ 26 miles, removed the seat strap and installed an electronic flasher relay in anticipation of future lighting augmentations...

Congrats
hopefully you didn't buy it from Cafe Motor Sports since they wanted at lease $4,100 out the door. I was there last week and they called me in and I seen the black GROM on the floor and they would not come down to the Hollister Honda price of $3,650 OTD so I asked to get back my $200 deposit and I will wait for Hollister's shipment to come in.

Where did you get your's at by the way?

Ride safe.

Thanks. I got it in Modesto. They were the only place I found that didn't have a list of deposits when I was searching. Good luck with Hollister, hot vehicles will always get marked up.

Horn relocation: I flipped the horn bracket from the back to the front, grinding down with a Dremel for clearance and mounted the bar and horn behind the headlight. I hope it clears the headlight.

Finally back in commission!

I got all the silver metal bits powder coated and silver plastics painted black. I got the mirror arms coated too, but broke one mirror in the process of reassembly...oh well, got some bar ends installed. The gloss black powder coat turned out great, matching the bike very well. Now, I'm just waiting for my personal custom designed tidy tail which is going through fabrication. Stay tuned!

I also purchased some hotbodies flush turn signals, but they were too dim for my liking, so stock signals stay on for now...

Installed Pro Taper Kawasaki Minis. They feel much better, allowing me to ride on the front of the seat rather than the middle or back with the stock bars. I removed the foam piece, but wish the crossbar color matches the rest of the bike...

Still waiting on my custom tidy tail to clean up the rear.
