Is there a way to stop boot rub on the engine cases? I can already see some of the black paint fading off. I wanna keep my bike pretty lol

I have no control over it, it's just how I ride

I Think I saw somewhere, someone had some sort of clear plastic over there engine cases it almost looked like a big piece of clear tape

Look up paint protection film, people who do tint have it and have tons of scrap. Stuff is just like the indestructibe screen protectors

i ride on the back of the seat with my feet on the passenger pegs most of the time. don't really think i'll have that issue, lol

Ride with the balls of your feet on the peg. It's a more responsive setting too rather than having the peg in the middle of your "boot".

In the past I have used snowboard stomp pads. You can find them cheap off season. You can get goofy goth looking stud things that you can put in tight places. I found strip ones that I cut up. Another tip is to use 3m impact film. The stuff is great and can be moulded with heat gun........go slow. Don't over heat.

My feet don't rub on the engine cases but they do rub on the silver peg brackets .

Can't find the damn link, truechoice motorsports has a clear helicopter blade tape they used to sell. Race car peeps would buy the stuff to put on their front splitters and lips. similar to 3m clear bra material, if it works for race cars it'll probably stop boot rub.

It's sometimes refered to as "MacTac" but it's essentially a clear piece of semi gloss plastic with adhesive on one side. It's used primarily to cover race bodywork like number plates etc to keep it from being damaged by dirt.

Cabbies use it under their roof lights as well, to keep it from chaffing the clear on their taxis.

This particular item # comes with three 12"x18" sheets in the package, and you cut it to fit your application.

I haven't done that once with the grom. I can't stop riding this thing I'd rather ride then show off to the kickstand warriors
