Anyone else notice that the black Grom isn't really black? It takes some bright sunlight to see, but the metallic painted panels are more of a dark charcoal. The tail panels are a true black and non metallic.

I originally ordered red, but I think the dark charcoal panels look really good and they have grown on me. Now I only regret that the small surrounding tail panels aren't color matched.

Of course I would also be more than willing to take ShapeShifters' white panels with red striping off his hands when he gets bored with them?

I wanted a red grom, but i think black is more versatile for graphics. I had to go out of town till end of October. My wife gets to babysit my grom till I get home.

I saw it the first day in sunlight and thought wtf. Cheesy that the tail black is not the same as the tank black.
