Picked up a black Grom from the dealership last night for my g/f. Pumped to start the list of modifications I have planned. I'll post a picture of it loaded up once my email cooperates. This Grom will be used mainly as a "pit bike" for her at the drag racing events that I attend, but will probably see an occasion street ride. That's all if she can fight me for it!

It will be hard to match my buddies 450 motor swapped Grom, but here is the list of mods I have planned.

-WorldWide Bearings ceramic wheel bearing kit (arrived at the house yesterday)
-Brock's Performance full exhaust
-Dynojet PC5 with Brock's Map
-Brock's Performance Airbox kit/mods
-BST carbon fiber wheels
-Montgomery Motorsports carbon fiber front fender, tire hugger/chain guard
-Alisyn less than Zero weight oil and Petron oil additive
-Custom painted bodywork

Hugger doesn't actually exist, yet! ;-)

I stopped by there place on the way back from picking it up last night... those were just a few of the things he immediately wanted to make out of carbon fiber. I'll get him the pieces off the bike next week to start on the carbon.

Helping folks with R&D and having some great sponsors (from drag racing) help ease the pain on the wallet!

Full ceramic bearing kit is $250 (2 front, 2 back, 1 sprocket carrier). I actually didn't even take the bearings out of the box yet to see the size.

What is your buddy's name with a 450 swapped into it? As far as I know, Doug has the only one done so far.
Yep... Doug is the only one crazy enough to take a 3 week old bike and do that. I almost wrecked it twice at the last race when I was grudge racing scooters.... a slightly wet parking lot and 450 grom = ridiculous tire spin!

I didn't see anything about an exhaust on Brock's website?!?!?! Do you have photos or any info? Is the bearing's from WW OR Brock's?
They are not available yet, but all testing has been completed! Looks great, makes awesome power, and sounds badass! The ceramics are from WWB, but Brock's is carrying them. I'll see if I can get some pictures to put up of the exhaust.

The exhaust HAS to be compatable with aftermarket rear sets like driven etc.

I'm guessing that guy is talking about another system or possibly an M4. The Brock's Performance systems are not done yet and there is only one in existence currently.
Cool Ben , Just got mine today and will be Brocking it out just like my zx14r ..
