I need to get a baseline HP dyno run on my Grom before I do my upgrades, 170cc kit, air filter mod, Crowner cam, PCV and other small touches so I called around a few MC shops with in San Jose and Santa Clara and the shop in San Jose wants $80 dam kind of steep.

The shop in Santa Clara wants $50 which will include the first run baseline and another run after I install my upgrades, not bad and we did a test setup on his dyno machine and he was concern about the Grom fitting on the machine and being locked in place. His dyno machine had a couple of air vent unit tubs near the front wheel lock down and he also had a climate control setup type booth which was pretty cool looking. Dyno run is next week Thursday at 10am time frame.

Yeah 80$ is steep for baselines

for anyone that doesn't know, you can go on DynoJets website and you can search every dj dyno user in your state, it provides you an address and phone number so you can simply call around to get best prices

what my friends did was talk to this motorcycle shop that had a dyno and had him do a "Dyno Day" special for everyone to come out.. once he set it up for the grom it was easy to do multiple runs with diff bikes.. he only charged like $10 per run.. had like bunch of ppl do it and even the dyno guy was laughing because everyone was excited when it went double digits lol

Damn. Just called the local shop here with a dynojet dyno and they are wanting like $150. I was thinking that was for a before and after package, but he said its for 3 baseline pulls. Hoping to do a before and after dyno as well, but if its costing this much locally I won't be able to.

Baseline pull would be with stock intake and slip on epa yosh exhaust.

Will be putting in the 170cc kit and PCV.

Just called another place. $85 for a baseline pull/ 1 hour. Dyno is a superflow dyno though.

My local guy charges $45 for 3 pulls on the dyno. I'd love to see what my numbers are but I'm thinking that is a lot for this application... $80 and anything north of that is crazy.
