Hey Grommers...

I'm looking into getting an aftermarket bar for the Grom. I've been doing some of research, but I figure that I'd also reach out to you for your recommendations...

I'd like to get something that would match as close as possible to a racebike, but not to the extent of the Composimo Race bars. I'd preferably like to stick w the 7/8 bars, as low as possible without them bumping into the tank or them being too wide. Right now, I'm leaning on getting the CR Honda's.

I've also seen clubman bars and mini-bike bars, but I don't know too much about the fitment and comfort. Any tips on particular brands, fitment, comfort and othe reviews?

I can't make any recommendations for the route you're wanting to go. But just wanted to make sure you knew Renthal makes a 7/8 road race bar in 3 different bends.

I did NOT know that. That's good info. I'm curious on clearance issues w the tank. I'll look into that. Thanks.

No I'm still waiting to mount them, bike is still in storage. Check out Slevin's build thread, he used to have them and has pics on there.

I have Protaper Honda Mini. I like them. Low, comfortable, cheap.

In my thread I show the Bikemaster universal superbike bars, really low bars and only cost 27$ or so shipped.. Even came with bar end plugs
