While removing my air box and install my new MNTHBX air box delete rod i wanted to do something with the horn that hung down in the front. Here is what i did...

1. removed horn and the bracket fro the lower tree.

2. re-routed wire after i unclipped the cable tie that hold the horn harness to front frame and routed it up and down along the main harness to the left side top old air box 6mm bolt mount. Using the exciting hardware mounted it up to that top hole in from under tank where the air box bolt was on left side.

this clears the left faring nicely and also clears MNTHBX delete rod as well. Horn is still loud and is completely hidden.

In the 3rd pic down, what did you do with the dangling hose that connected to the back of the air box?

I put a uni filter crank case breather on and routed it on right side up under tank by grounding wires under front of seat. $10.00 uni/filter

Did you do the airbox delete to install k&n1100 ?

Also on the horn relocation, it will just thread into that same hole without the bracket. Just unhook the wires and spin it on.

Thanks for posting this. I used this as a guide to relocate my horn in an almost identical fashion. Job well done!

Just did this mod as well. With the MML RuckEyes it was even more important to me to clean up the front end a little since there is a whole lot more exposed. This was a perfect mod to de-clutter a bit. Even undid the bracket from the backside of the triple tree clamp that the horn bracket bolts into. Super clean now and took less than 2 minutes since I already have my fairings off for other work and a color change. :encouragement:
