I'm going to take my Grom on some day trips, and maybe even weekend trips around North Ga and Tn so I figured a little extra fuel couldn't hurt just in case. I got bored at work and started playing around with a 30oz MSR bottle and some odds and ends I had laying around the shop. I think my final product came out alright.
A 30oz fuel bottle should give me about 20-25 miles of range in case I run low in the middle of nowhere.

Total cost of the project was $20 for the bottle (from REI) and and about 2 bucks in hose clamps. It took me about 20 minutes.

Nice. Actually looks pretty good.....

Have you heard of the Totally Tubular Tool Tube? I keep a large fuel bottle in one on a differnt bike....
That is pretty cool. And generally speaking, it's a safe bet that I havent heard of anything bike-related because I've been a motorcyclist for 15 days/850 miles as of right now.

I like the bottle its a good idea and a beautifully executed solution.

Still the range of a grom should be 150 miles. If you cant find a gas station in that time you did something wrong!
