Forget which thread, but I saw someone posted a picture of their kickstand scraped up. Anyone having that issue on the track? I have Driven rearsets so the kickstand is my only concern now. Wonder if I should just take it off.

This is a little off subject, but when mu buddy wrecked my grom two weeks ago the kickstand safety switch got damaged and he couldn't ride it home.i told him to cut the wires down low and see if he could twist them to get it home. He did and once it was home I traced to wires and eliminated them all together. My other buddy that has a grom wants me to do his now so he is never stranded over a kickstand. I will do I step by step when I do his if anyone wants me to. This mod isn't for everyone. I've been riding for 20 years on the street and always check and even if I did forget 99% of the time it would kick up leaving my driveway or the first left I'd make.

Haven't gotten it to a track yet, but yes, kickstand has been scraped a few times while playing in parking lots. That's still on stock suspension and stock tires, so I imagine with a stiffer setup on the suspension or a taller profile tire, that would resolve the issue. Personally, I'd just unbolt the kickstand for the track.
