what? My buddy Dan's GROM has a battery tender that came on it from the dealer, but mine didn't have one.
Did they really install these on some GROMs? Did they charge for "installation" and "accessory" ?

We install optimate SAE leads on EVERY new bike that leaves our shop, regardless of brand. We also offer a deal on a Honda branded optimate 3 for 25 dollars at time of sale.
This was actually a Honda-backed initiative to cut down on battery warranties. It's entirely optional but our dealer does it anyway.
Mine is under the seat next to the tool kit, so it's not hanging out.
