...at how inexpensive some Honda Grom oem parts are? I have only bought gaskets (couple of bucks each), air filters ($9 ea.), and today a new rear axle and nut ($8.20), but those prices seem very reasonable.

They are cheap, I am considering a buying another head and mod it to see if I can get some gains that way only $74. That is just the casting, most likely no cam, springs valves etc, but even the valves are under $10. I was going to see if I could Install larger valve seats and valves, but I don't think there is enough room in between them. Can't hurt to test it though.

Prices originally here (US) were $74 for a bare cylinder head, now they're $94.. WHY!

Thanks for that diagram. Seems like my Honda dealer has a very hard time finding the right part every time I order something. Now I can check the part number before I order to double check that I am getting the right part.

There isnt really enough room for larger valve seats but porting the head like did seems like an improvement for sure

Hey big Chris, take a look at the oversized crf110 valves on t-bolt. It mentions countersinking the seats to make them not overlap. They are only .5mm and 1.5mm over stock. I also was wondering if the TB 60mm piston might work, it has a 13mm pin too. Just some ideas I had, It's so Damn cold and gets dark at 5:00am here I haven't been able to road test my bike. I did get the bazzaz and the AFM all working beautifully though. On the other hand i bet TB will have stuff available soon specifically for the grom i bet. It didn't take long for the crf 110 BBK.
