I will be keeping my oem exhaust, our neighborhood always get complaints with loud exhaust so I was planning to cut out the silver part and shorthen the tip (it's hollow underneath the silver part). Oem exhaust is not readily available if I screwed up

Just wanted to get an idea what you think the sound would be.

This thread is directed to those who already upgraded their exhaust and kind enough to accept some ridiculous request

i too want to do this. but to me it looks like the inside diameter/profile of the tip is smaller that the outside profile of the rest can, say 3/4 1/2 profile section of the can. like the stock section where the tip rivets on was smushed/reduced smaller so that the tip could be the same measurment as the rest of the pipe. know what i mean?
