talk about shipments kinna died out with all the new owners. prolly cause the waiting list people tring to get grom out of their head till next year. but im just curious to see if anyone talked with a sales rep or dealer and heard anything. can't wait to roll around 10-15 deep.

With all the different models they make it still takes a lot. The grom is probably the least profitable bike they produce. So they'll want to produce more of the others.

I talked directly to our Honda rep at work face to face. He said the next time we would be able to order will be in January and the ones we order then will arrive in March.

My dealer showed me his order sheet last week and it showed him being able to order mine 3 rd week in nov for jan del.. I don't know if he is wrong or if its different in some areas than others?!

No idea because the salesman don't have anything to do with the ordering at my dealership. All that is done by the owner. But I was inquiring with the Honda rep about the other Grom we were supposed to receive and had not. He checked what was ordered and said that we had only ordered one. I asked when the next order period was and he said January.

Nothing about quantities? Maybe receive more since they are dozens of deposits. Or will it be same 3 powerhouse 2 everywhere else. I kno things can always change. But I'm just curious to what people been hearing an from what source.

When I worked as a parts manager at a powersports dealer, the order for major units was done at the annual dealer show or shortly thereafter. When that order was filled the only other source for major units was from other dealers that had ordered too many or more than they sold until the next dealer show. I don't think additional Groms can be ordered from Honda until the next dealer show. I believe right now Honda is building and shipping Groms to fill orders from dealers from the last dealer show. If the dealer has received his full order then dealership will have to source other dealers for product. So the next major unit order would probably be for 2015 models. Dealer shows were usually held Spring time so new models could be introduced and sold in the Fall.

Yes, we found that out the initial shipment. I was just curious as to if anyone heard anything. Cause the initial was pretty accurate with the 2-3 per dealer.

Was thinking they might of ramped up production a bit since they know the demand for it now. With at least 1 out of 5 dealers have deposit lists of over 20. An a lot of dealers turning down deposits until they start filling um again. Maybe like at least doube the amount per shipment, at least until they can actually have them on the showroom floor for people to look at.
