Here are two ways of modifying the stock intake. Sorry I don't have start to finish pictures, but I have pictures of the final outcome.
Option 1:
Remove Stock intake box and install air filter onto rubber intake arm. Doing so will give you space to mount the IAT.
Option 2:
Remove stock air filter and keeping the stock air box. All you will need to remove is the stock air filter and part of the rubber hose inside the air box. You will need pliers for this to break loose the metal bracket holding part of the rubber intake tube. After that you keep the hard plastic portion of the intake tube and mount the air filter onto that. You can put the stock airbox back together with the air filter hidden inside.
