Airfilter Mod By vinson

Light Bore High Performance Fuel Injector, Stock front Pipe, Home Made Slipon, Vinson Airfilter Mod

Top speed achieved on speedo 123 KMT - 75,81 Mph, Reasonable result, Considering my weight 93 kg 188 high

I'm pretty sure a smaller guy could have achieved better results

For a comparison, I obviously GPS Measured 106,22 KMT - 66 MPH , wind was smooth and about 20 degrees

I might add, snorkel I have used to the Throttle Body, is the original tube,to the air intake on the original airbox
it is much thicker than the one Honda used from throttle body to Airbox,An angle from the local hardware store " Done "

did you mean "previously" instead of obviously?

none the less I dig the way you set up the filter and its location, I originally wanted to keep the airbox but after seeing more intake setups I want to do something original

The Slipon was Originally from a monkey OOracing Cut Down and welded to fit The Grom Manufold
The diameter on the intake pipe is about 40 mm

injector is the one from RZ racing - Light Bore High Performance Fuel Injector

Honda MSX High Perfarmance Fuel injector yuminashi - RZ Racing

They've also got a Yuminashi Honda MSX 125 RZR Performance pack 1.1, but in my opinion, it would sit too close to the engine

and there is nothing on the sensor that sits in the airbox

the primary would be to supply the motor with cold air[h=1][/h]

Intake and exhaust are definitely first up on my mod list. Thanks for sharing. So you just have a light bore injector but still on the stock 125cc engine?

Yes still on the 125 cc - considering a 150 kit, but think the first problem is the valve springs, motor spins now easily beyond 9200 rpm
the valves will begin floating

Hmm how much would it cost you to ship me one?

Did you change your sprocket, like they recommend, or no?

So according to that site, and the OP... just an injector and filter allows Grom to go ~72mph. That's more than enough for me and I find it hard to believe... but I like it!

Hard to believe indeed, but if I can get this thing to do 80 with an injector, intake, exhaust and tuning, I am in!

If he's getting the revs up to 9200 he's certainly doing those speeds, 9850rpm will get you 80mph flat

One tooth down on the rear will get you 80mph at 9600rpm
One tooth up on the front will get you 80mph at a hair over 9200rpm
