So I have had the Grom for a little over 3 weeks. The service schedule is for 600 miles or one month which ever occurs first. I have 300 miles on it currently. My question is would you wait till 600 or have it done after a month? I would estimate having 600 on it within next few weeks.

Never had any problems with warranty when doing my own oil change, I kept all my receipts on the oil I bought and gaskets and such and kept them in a folder for my various motorcycles and also took pic of my maintenance.
Did that on my Harley, my Suzuki Hayabusa, Honda Shadow,etc.
Not sure if your dealer is pulling your leg or not but check with your local dealer.
some link stories, just keep good records and mileage, it's your money so do what you want with it, but when your motorcycle takes a crap down the road or back hills and you do not know much about your motorcycle on how to take it a part or figuring out how to trouble shoot it blame no one but yourself.
