Did they give you a breakdown of the price, destination charge, sales taxes and doc fee? MSRP is $3,499 plus $300 in destination so you are at $3,799 right there. Not sure what your sales tax rate is in NC. Keep in mind, there is very little margin on a Grom (I work at a dealership) and Groms don't sit long on showroom floors.
They did not. Tax here is 3%. There is definitely some padding built into that price but not excessive. I will call a couple other dealers today but I will pay a little more to support this one as it’s the closest to me and has always been friendly.

Yeah, at 3% sales tax rate (which is awesome), that puts you at $3,903.97 with msrp, tax and destination. They are probably charging you a pretty good build fee and doc fees to get to $4,359.59. They have some room to move on that but buying local is definitely a plus.
I picked my '23 non abs Grom up the beginning of February for 4,400 otd. I know other people have paid less, but I've also heard of people being quoted over 5k in other places. There isn't a big Grom community where I live yet, in fact I've never seen one driving around in my area. I'm hoping others buy one so a local Grom squad pops up around my hometown!
