My 2022 grom has only done 650km and is due for the first oil change as soon as the filter arrives in the post.
Stock bikes except for Yoshi rs2 full exhaust.
She starts and runs what seems to me perfectly, smoothly, etc... Can hit over 100km (GPS)
As I am always curious to learn new things, I decided to poke my snake cam into the spark plug hole to inspect. I notice vertical lines (photos attached below) should I be worried abt it, are they normal from factory or....?
Today my compression test tool arrived.
Test done with throttle WOT cranked till needle stopped climbing.
1st test, stone cold engine = 60psi
2nd the test, the engine ran for 10 seconds only = 66psi
3rd test, engine at operational temp, = 70psi
--------------------
The 2022 service manual states (shown below pic)
Cylinder Compression, 87psi at 700rpm.
--------------------
Is that a cold or hot engine reading?
How does my test look vs the specs? Does altitude above sea level affect anything?
Any input from those in the know-how would be much appreciated👍🙏
