@Chillis , what do you think of that Chimera drive carrier?

Considering picking one up.

How much lighter than stock?

Another option? or is that just for Z125:

That drive is heavier though:
"Grom Fatherz Hyper Cush Drive hub. Bling to the max! Unfortunately, the Hyper Hub weighs about 48 grams more than the stock hub...lol. I don’t care. It is likely stronger, not that you would probably ever break the stock hub. It is a nice piece. Beautiful."

Your bike is a masterpiece!

So are you keeping it? I really hope so... she was coming together so well!
If somebody offers up the cash I'll sell it. Otherwise, it is paid for so it is only taking up space in the garage until it gets a new engine.

I never would have upgraded the hub if I didn't break a stud on my stock hub.

The stock hub is very light.

Chimera uses screws which are replaceable to hold on the sprocket instead of pressed in studs like stock. I prefer this over the stock arrangement.

If you are going to build a new motor for it.....
Billet cases are now available. You have the choice of grom style cylinders and heads or yamaha mio/bws cylinders and heads.

That is awesome. Where from and why use different cylinder/head?

The main vendor is BikeEmpire in Thailand. Look at their page on facebook. There are several other vendors and resellers in Asia.

The yamaha cylinders and head have a lot more parts and kits on the market for >200cc. The BikeEmpire shop bike is 350cc.

If someone hasn't claimed ill call dibs on the down fender kit. But for the time being which kit is that? I haven't seen it before.

I'm not selling off parts. Still undecided about selling the whole bike.

Fender kit is from Takegawa. After researching all of the designs it is the most robust/well thought out design.
@mongerrr what combination would you choose for the case/top end for reliability while still able to make power?

I look for the BWS 125 aftermarket parts but it seems minimal are in the US and I can't find much searching on the phone for other country's goodies either.

Pull your engine apart first. If your head is still good, then build up a motor with that head. If its trashed, then consider a neo for max reliability or a yamaha bws/zuma zuma if you want big torque.

Those billet BMP cases look sweet

In the USA, they are sold as Zuma 125's

Drowsports sells a 200cc big bore thats also converts it from air cooled to water cooled

That's a Monkey engine. Sight glass and silver.

I'm going to do another build if I keep the bike.
