Hate to tell you, they are not that rare. Dealers have them in stock, you just may have to look more than 20 miles away.

On the forum, people won't understand that bro. But $5k is a little high for NYC. In Manhattan, I have the only Grom with stretch, lowered, custom hubs wheels, you know the drill, check out my build.

Because of the MY mods, I'm looking to get $8500 for mine if I decide to sell. And I got 132 miles.

I suggest you put your grom back to stock. I have someone that will give you $4000 cash.

People don't understand that what you paid for mods doesn't necessarily translate into a higher sale price for a used vehicle. I agree with EdPrez: part it out. Sell it stock and liquidate the bolt on parts online.

It's not worth parting out, I'd rather sell as whole and not have to deal with additional parts to sell. I'm not In a rush to sell it and if it doesn't sell then I keep it. So I'm not to worried.

It's funny how everyone is concerned with the price yet none of you are interested.

We are laughing at the price and we are not interested in the bike because we already own GROMs. Duh. It's a $3000 bike. People who want instant gratification are only going to pay so much of a premium.

Also, people are too proud of their "mods." Nobody cares about your mods. Try bringing your Honda Civic SI to a dealership to trade in and tell him about your $3k set of 12" Daytons and carbon fiber shopping cart wing on the boot. Mods are worthless. People care about blue book value. Your mods are sunk costs. Sunk costs are named so for a reason. They've sank. You're not getting them back. They're at the bottom of the ocean, bro. Unless you have a sub and a salvage crew...

LOL that was funny. If the grom can be had for $3000 new then I would like to see how many people got it for $3000 out the door. I do agree with the mods as far as people being proud of them, that is why I mod things my self instead of buying modded, but to some its easier to buy something modded. I would never bring vehicle to the dealer period to try and sell that is the stupidest thing someone can do they pay crap that's why you sell if privately. Mods are also not sunk costs. I have modded plenty of vehicles in the past and at that point people look at what it is they are buying not what it was when it was stock at once. I don't understand your mentality on this subject. EX. if your grom is modded and you spent lets say $2000 In mods. and you are going to sell it as is, you would sell it for $3000? I want to hear the answer to that because I don't think you would do that.

Certain mods I would agree with you guys on that. But the few mods on this bike are mods pretty much most people would do anyway. So it would not make sense to take it all off and sell it stock just so the buyer can now go and add the same mods. In my opinion it would save me time to buy it the way it sits. These aren't crazy mods that are very personal. I wasn't expecting to get $5000 I put that asking price up to see what I could get. I personally wouldn't buy this bike for that amount either. But offers could be entertained.

LOL still clueless bro. 5000 firm? Lmao

I could buy a brand new grom with all those mods and more. And still save $
How does this make him clueless? Maybe your fortunate to live somewhere that the dealer will ONLY charge you tax on the grom or live somewhere it isn't so popular but I paid $4300 out the door in NY. he also has some mods done to it. If someone NEEDS a grom or wants to gift one for Christmas this isn't to far from what they would pay themselves
