I do know that MPG will go down but since the 170cc kit has been beta tested what is the average MPG that you guys have seen or experience with the Kit or what is the appox MPG you think we are going to get.

Thanks for any info from the testers and not the online wanna be testers who have not experience this kit first hand.

Maybe those UK grom owners or Asia grom owners with the 150cc installed kit can chime in to give us a real world mileage with these upgraded cylinder kits.

I get about 70-80mpg with a knn and a full yoshi, completely stock I got around high 80s

You gotta compromise somewhere, lets see the overall mileage per tank... if its like 50miles per tank with bbk hope you have additional storage space for fuel, or plan your rides to have lotsa pit stops.

I suggest miles per tank cuz grom has like a 1.1gallon tank no?

Right now all stock grom no mods, I get 93-97 before I fill up with 1 bar showing on the screen. I ride WOT and average between 55-65mph with my 210 lbs wt.

So with the big bore kit my adjustment will be made either in the transmission or the counter sprocket or main sprocket change and setting up the A/F mapping for my type of riding.

I have almost 500miles on the 170cc kit and have been getting about 85mpg. I have been riding it very hard trying to stress the motor to gauge durability. If I rode it a less aggressive I imagine I would get around 95mpg or so. But what fun would that be...

With the stock displacement I was getting around 100mpg average.

Same boat. I'm getting 97 average stock. I would like a 150cc kit with a matching injector so I don't have to use a fuel controller. 80mpg would be ideal depending on gearing.

That's pretty good for riding hard. As of now worst mpg is 99. I don't really beat on the bike. My best is 144mpg with an average of 115.7mpg since new. Bike should last me forever at this rate.

I've got a 155kit running low-compression and a little lean. On premium (high octane) fuel (to avoid knocking) I'm getting about 112-115mpg. That's about the same as stock. Note that I've not fitted a cam etc, so the tune hasn't change, just the capacity of the engine. Since it's 155cc breathing through a 125cc setup, then in-fact its even been de-tuned a little, since the valves and cams are smaller now in relation to the capacity. I'm hoping that when I've fitted a less loose piston (I need a 0.25 oversize) and sorted out the compression & fuelling, I should get more power and improve the economy too.
