He's been very open about the whole thing so I don't see the issue. Motobot is offering a wide range of parts for our bikes at cheap prices. Some people want to change things up on their bikes and don't have tons of money to spend on them, so there is a market there for this type of stuff. If you aren't interested, don't buy them, don't bother even looking at the threads. A bunch of US vendors buy all their stuff cheap as hell from overseas and brand it as some latest and greatest product. Example: "NEW LOW DOWN GROM SHOCK - $150" when it's actually a $50 pitbike shock that's been around forever, how is that okay and this is not? Just my two cents..

No its actually more like putting an ohlins sticker on that shock and trying to resell it like an ohlins at a discounted price.

Everything in my webshop is genuine product except for the yoshi's full system.
Thanks to Racer X and other peeps trying to destroy my bussiness.
What is wrong with offering genuine products to the North-American market for 1/3 of the price?
If we have to believe Racer X, than this is a perfect world where everybody has enough cash to mod their grom to the limit.
I have allready said that the Yoshi's are copy. What more do u expect from me?
Anyway, i will continue with my passion...
I'm in the make of a single sided swingarm for the Grom, also will be bringing Motobot racing exhaust line, titanium and stainless steel are the keywords.

how are they genuine products? are they yosh cans that you cut down or modify?

while i can appreciate your small business, the US has a big problem w/ asian countries copying products and putting well know labels on them. they are not the same quality and most importantly not the original product.

if you can make good products they will become big name products like yosh and akrapovic, but selling your copies as them is NOT they way to earn business in other countries.

    Good Luck w/ YOUR products.

I don't think anyone is trying to destroy your business. You were slow to fully disclose that you are selling imitation Yoshimura labeled products. You are getting a hard time from people because of what and how you are selling some of your products. Even if you were 100% up front and honest that you were selling counterfeit exhaust systems you would still be hearing about it as a lot of people feel that it wrong in addition to being illegal.

Seriously man, give it a rest, you made your point.. Good luck paying for brand names.

Ive sold connection rods in the past, which nobody in the us wanted. "Chinese crap" everyone said.
200 sets later my contact in sweden had zero failures (this is 4y ago, still zero failures to this date).

Still us peeps "they are crap, it is impossible to make quality items for 50$"
But buying the same rods from a us brand that ordered inthe same factory: sure they are better for sure because USA!

You guys need to drop your view on things.. Sure it sucks for composimo to see his swingarm copied, but what do you expect.. Thailand is such a huuuge market, it blows away any other continent. Having a 1/10th labor cost in comparison to for instance europe adds up to this (an asian is not spending 300 bucks for a item if that means giving a months pay)
The apac brands known here target the emea region, so also emea prices, so waaay overpriced

Copying an item is one thing, putting the original Co's name on that product is entirely diff.

Nobody is questioning his quality, since nobody has seen it.

Ah yes, something to clarify: he is not making the yoshi things himself, just buys from a wholesale guy.. (Im NOT talking about the titanium items or his body kits)
