    Power Commander or Power Vision?

I have the chimera intake and yoshimura rs2 exhaust and don't plan on doing anything else. Would the power commander be good or should I get the power vision?

For only those additions, I would strongly consider a re-flashed ECU from DHM Motoring.

Seconded. The power command and power vision are over kill for what you have.

DHM seems to be getting impressive power from their ECU flash, but you have to send in your ECU which means no riding your Grom for a few weeks. You can buy a second ECU for them to flash, but that's an extra $100 so you're more than half the cost of a Dynoject product. Also, DHM admits that if you buy an ECU from them it may be used. Personally I'm 100% against used electronics of any kind.
m2Boost and MSX UD ITA like this.

It you choose to buy another unit you can send them yours and they refund you the money.

After the fact? Meaning I can order a DHM ECU, run my Grom on the stock ECU, get the DHM ECU installed, and ship my stock ECU to them for a refund?

"If you do not wish to have the downtime, I can provide a core flashed ECU to you. You will have to pay a $95 core charge which will be refunded once you send your original ECU back."

That's on their website. Pretty good option for no down time.

Ah I did see that and forgot all about it. That does explain where they get their used ECUs.

Find a friend locally with a Power Vision and just pay for an extra tuning license. This will allow for unlimited reflashes... just buy them a 6-pack anytime you need to borrow the PV for a log + flash.

I recently had DHM Motoring re-flash my ECU after putting on a Chimera air intake. I shipped my ECU on Monday and had it back on Saturday. Pretty quick turn around if you ask me. I wasn't going to be riding during the week anyways so really no down time for me. Also I will add I am happy with the re-flash. Not sure if I picked up any top end but I can definitely tell I have more climbing power going up hills and it holds speed and power a lot better uphill.
