Installed the Ohlins front fork kit FDK111 the other day and man is it amazing! Such a huge difference. Next mod will be the Ohlins rear Shock in order to even out the bike.

Put about 270 miles on the Grom today, the seat and front fork kit made it very enjoyable.

For the last few days, I've been testing my new PV3 tune from BillRamseyerJr ([email protected]). He built me a custom open loop tune for my DHM 186. So far, it's been pretty damn good. Bill has been very helpful and is a pleasure to work with. He supports Dynojet hardware (PV3/PCV/WBO2/POD300) and Hoedar ECU. Hit him up if you're interested in getting a tune. Initially, there's a one-time fee of $50 for an appointment and revisions are free, but he accepts donations.

The "What did you do to your Grom today?" thread

Scored a like-new Corbin seat off Craigslist for $138 (after shipping and cashierís check fee) for my OG. Asphalt black vinyl with black logo. Just received it yesterday.

It certainly helps take the edge off the sharp bumps, but Iíve found that it actually transmits ~slightly~ more vibration than the stocker (based on the first 25 mile ride yesterday). The seller claimed it only had about ~100 miles on it before he pulled the seat and sold the Grom, and Iíve read that these seats improve with use, so maybe it will improve over time?

For the price I paid, Iím happy with the improvement, but frankly, I would have been disappointed if I had paid full price for the Corbin (~$400-ish after shipping?).

The improvement in harshness with the Corbin seat and OE shock was roughly similar to the performance of the OE seat with ÷hlins shock and comfort oriented damper settings, although I was not able to evaluate those two configurations back-to-back. Just my $0.02.

ETA: I also ordered an EFIE from Eagle Research today. They must be in stock because I got a shipping notification and tracking number within a couple hours of ordering.

Finally gutted the $15 OG header pipe I got off eBay (took FOR-EV-ER with Dremel cut-off wheels) and repainted it after my welder put it back together.

Installed these cheap chinese turn signals on the rear, I'm really happy with these, quality is good and the LED is super bright (pic doesn't do it justice).
Ordered a pack of 4 for 13,28$ delivered (they also have 2x for 8-9$), seems hard to beat!
On the cons, the lenses are glued. I checked before install and had one lens come off fairly easily. Not a problem as a drop of glue will fix it. The others were just fine.
Also there is no heat shrink on the wires but that's another easy cheap fix.
Ordered here, seller is nice to communicate with: https://www.ebay.com/itm/4x-Black-Mo...AAAOSwEktc63q9

I installed a fender eliminator and some flush mount front blinkers. Both came from amazon.

Installed my EFIE today.

FYI: I sent an email to Eagle Research asking about the holes in the potting material. They said they use tool handle dip and it can be touched up if it will be used in a wet location. They also said it you could use tool handle dip, epoxy or hot glue to reseal after adjusting.
