Printed out a opmid/afr gauge mount (thanks turp). Made some adjustments to the design so I don't have to rewire the gauges.

Added some decals. So much horsepower now.

Put together the seat concepts seat. Love it. A buddy rode it and liked it too compared to his z125. Couple notes. You 100% need a pneumatic staple gun. I tried just a regular staple gun and it failed terribly. Once I started using the pneumatic one it was so easy to install. It sits a little higher so it took a minute to get use to the new seat position.
Hey Mikochu, how are you getting on with the Racing bros shock? I'm considering getting one for my grom SF and wondering if there were any clearance issues with the piggyback?
Cheers.

It's doing well. I haven't done the MNNTHBX swingarm bushings yet, but coupled with the RB front fork kit, my bike feels much more composed. When we installed it, we chose to flip it, but looking at more recent photos online, it seems like clearance isn't an issue.

Lots of seat time since the factory air box K&N filter change (HA-1313), no perceptible difference, though I'm sure it flows better than the paper cartridge. I like the factory exhaust and overall think they got the bike right from the factory. Just wanting a little more torque / grunt when in 4th. Flat and level in an upright position 55 all day long which is fine for my style and use, however, going to try a 35 tooth rear sprocket, changing the chain to an RK gold anyway so figured why not.

Hitting 8,000 rpm downhill in 4th at top of 63mph in a tuck, can't see how an extra few hundred RPM would hurt and could use a little grunt down low.

Picked up my seat I had upholstered and reshaped this morning. Gonna install it tonight and see how it feels, hopefully I don’t slide around on it.

I checked locally for upholstery, $375 to $575 range....

Looks like I'll ride the stock seat for the summer lol.

Dang that is kind of pricey, the shop I went to charged me $280 which I thought was fair compared to what I’ve seen online for Corbin and what other shops quoted me. It might have been cheaper for just a plain design, but this is what I wanted.

The best part though is it’s an OEM seat.

Night and day freakin difference on comfort. Fitment is spot on and seat feels nice and secure, I should have had this done a long time ago. Ohlins suspension is next.

Changed the rear sprocket to the JT 35tooth (steel) and replaced the stock chain with RK 420 Gold.

Gear ratio change makes 4th gear more usable and fun in my opinion (I'm happy doing 55-60 top end).

Now it's easier to reach 8k and I can hear and feel the RPM increase in all the other gears. Makes the ride more fun :-)

There is a 30mph radar speed sign in town and it said I was doing 30mph with an indicated 31mph (sounds about right).

Other than a seat change and maybe suspension I'm done with upgrades.

Ride on little Grom, ride on!

    * oh yeah, still want to strip and polish the wheels. (winter project :-)
