    Z125 High Idle for Stunt anybody?

    Since a lot of grom owners have Z125 as well, has anybody had any luck cranking up the idle on the Z125?
    Running a Honda idle adjuster and as soon as the idle was turned up, the engine light came on and it will bog badly with high idle.
    The Grom had to overcome this IIRC, so has anybody found a workaround?

    real easy to turn the idle up on the grom with the throttle plate stop screw on the TB. dunno about the Z

    Turning the idle up is the easy part... Getting the ECU not to throw a fit is the complicated part

    ECU shouldnt have an issue.

    Get the bike idiling properly at 1400ish rpms, reset the ecu, reset the TP.

    THEN use the throttle stop adjuster to up your idle, the ECU knows no different between that holding the throttle more open or the actual throttle itself.
