I've no experience with the EFIE but I'd try to adjust it a bit, AFRs you are reporting are pretty rich.
I looked at the GF cover, but ya it's expensive. And not the best looking in my opinion. Once I get the other cover I wanted to try making my own vented cover with the old one. Just to see if I could.

What looks to rich? WOT? The whole range? I know idle is for sure lol.

Wait do you have the black and silver one? If so I'd take it off your hands for 20. I liked the contrast.

You should run a Trail Tech cylinder head temp gauge which reads from the base of the spark plug. It has saved my friends and myself from seizing a motor. I back off when it hits 370 degrees, which can happen pretty quick on certain setups. You're AFR is rich which helps keep the head temp cooler, but you never know.

Is this better than the opmid I'm running? I know stock temps from the opmid so I'm comparing the 143 temps to those.

I adjusted the idle screw. Initially I adjusted it when it was cold and once it warmed up the idle was over 2k rpm and afr was 13.7. I adjusted it a bit to 1400 rpm and the picture is the result. Maybe still rich for idle, but much better.

I used the gopro too. It worked out well. Found I'm running a bit rich so I lowered the EFIE output. It was set to 260. I thought I put it at 250 initially, but oh well now it's there.

Oh and I burnt out my LED headlight. I read in a post that the one I got would be fine with ac, but apparently not lol. I read about a one wire conversion just for the headlight. Can someone explain how to do this?

No riding today. It was low 90s today and humid. Bleh.

I printed and installed the fairing support bar I made. My 3d printer isnt big enough to make it one piece so it screws together. Weighs less than one ounce. I forgot to compensate for expansion on the mounting bolt holes so I had to drill those out a bit. I have no idea where the old bar came from. Looks homemade.

I did the ac to dc one wire headlight conversion yesterday. Super easy. I followed a video Hard Racing posted a while ago.

Here's the video for anyone interested:

Everything is still running well. I put another 60 miles on yesterday. I ordered a little fan to wire up that I can switch on during long red lights. I want to see how much of a difference it makes.

    LS,
I somehow had it in my mind that you were not using an external oil-cooler on this build. If that is indeed the case, what is the fan blowing air upon? Or do you now have an oil cooler?

No you are correct in that I have no oil cooler. It would blow on the engine itself just to get some airflow at a stop. It's just an experiment I wanted to try to see if it does anything.
