Looks like 11/16" diameter holding it up to a tape measure, I don't have calipers or anything. About 17-3/8" long.

How are people bending subframes? Solid steel bars are going to add a considerable amount of weight.

The subframe is very thin walled, plus there is a lot of leverage from the 12 bar sticking out. Not sure if you've ever scraped tail, but it takes lots of practice until you're able to just kiss it gently. When you're learning, the 12bar is getting SLAMMED hard. Even with the subframe braces installed, pretty sure its still going to get tweaked. But at least you can still ride it home
