MSX Skid ...
This is a nice idea, and the price is fantastic, but this metal (aluminum, I believe) tends to bend over time. The issue is the forward portion of the plate -- starting with and including the "notch" for the exhaust and forward from there. Given the heat of the engine coupled with vibration, the front part of the plate sags with gravity -- until it starts to catch against the rear edge of the front fender. I actually purchased two of these -- one for myself and one for my buddy who also has a grom -- both plates have this same problem. My concern also is that the plate can get somewhat caught up against the front fender and create a steering issue.
i am sorry, because I really like this concept, but the plate doesn't hold up as intended and in fact it creates a problem. I have to to give this a thumbs down, and caution others not to try this until/unless this part is re-designed.
I got 3 of these, but never tried it.

Isn't the real issue the header making contact with the ground? This does not protect the pipe.
