Once I'm on the highway I just set cruise control, lean back and throw my legs up, it really is like cruising down the highway in a nice recliner, lol.
I love nekkid bikes! They look the best IMO and they are comfortable except on the highway. I don't do many highway miles so I'm good with naked bikes. The Grom is a naked bike when you think about it.

I might ride a couch if I wasn't inseam challenged! LOL My unable got a 2019 Street Glide and it's sick. I have a few other in my family as well, but his black '19 with all the Chrome is beautiful.

Maybe the Honda engineers don't like gear indicators, this is bad. Yes, it bothers me too that sometimes I stop quickly and I cannot tell what speed the Grom is engaged nor I can put it on neutral, I have to release the clutch a little bit just to re engage in first gear or to put it to neutral. Sometimes I have started on 2nd gear and have to quickly hit the lever down to engage firs gear. I don't like this.

I don't think that I'll do extensive fwy ridding but occasionally I'd like to ride on an empty fwy on a sunny Sunday morning at 6:00am to feel the wind at 90 ~ 100mph but resume at 70 ~ 80 mph.
I think Honda has them on some bikes, but I can't remember now.

You'd be fine without a fairing for occasional freeway rides.

This one is like $35 but there are others similar to this one and costs like $5 even better that display a different color for each gear.

I have not seen any for $5, but $35 is reasonable. And you can get an aluminum mount to put it right on the bars if you would like.

Yes, that's very nice. If I get the CB300R, I must install a gear indicator. I love the one that changes color for each number of gear (1 red, 2 blue, 3 green, 4 red, 5 blue, 6 green) and blinks fast indicating that you can now change gear and when is in neutral displays these symbols ^-^ This is lovely.
