    No, a fly screen will not help your speeds. If anything it'll probably hurt your speed by a MPH/KPH or two.

    I had the Kitaco screen for a while. I took the headlight off enough that the Kitaco screen just became an annoyance as it was a much more complex task to remove/reinstall than just the 4 headlight bolts on the SF. I didn't notice any difference in speed, but it was a nice sunshade for the gauge cluster. It also rattled a bit. Waste of money unless you really like the style.

    My speed screen did not hurt the top speed on my Grom. I can hit the +450 rpm over stock rev limiter in 4th gear with the speed screen. Anybody want to know where my speed screen came from? It mounts with no metal hardware, just zip ties. I've had too many bikes to count and I had at least half a dozen screens laying around and one of them fit just right.

    I think the only thing to help my Monkey top speed is to lose weight.

    What other mods do you have to your Grom?
