Will I need a fuel programmer for Airbox Mod + Exhaust

Hey, so I have the AR exhaust currently installed on my grom. I am looking to do the airbox mod for a little extra torque, but am worried about the bike running lean. Will I need a fuel programmer if I also do the airbox mod, or can I just reset the stock ECU and be fine?

Just reset the ECU and you'll be fine.

If you do start looking at BBK or changing the cam out then you'll need to look at fuel options.

You'll likely be fine. I'm running an open intake and free flowing exhaust so to make sure the engine is getting enough fuel I installed a Yuminashi ECU. It adjusts itself and doesn't need to be reset like the stock ECU.

Thanks guys! I'll just reset the ECU afterwards and see how it goes.

Was the re-wiring part confusing on the yuminashi? Since the website says if it's a newer gen Grtom the wires don't match up.

No different than when you setup a Finbro ECU , just de-pin a couple of wire and more it to a new location and you're done
