Was able to run 70-75 on the highway sitting upright stock bars/mirrors/etc. Have a video I'll post up a bit later. Great setup!
I plan to work on a stock airbox map for the monkey here very soon, hopefully before the weekend.
70 to 75 MPH?! Why does it seem like the Monkey gets much better performance with aftermarket parts?

That dyno graph truly IS compelling.......even allowing for moderate variations, the dyno shows a wide range of usable power going from [max] ~ 8 HP (stock) to ~ 12 HP -- this achieved by adding only an exhaust, intake, cam, and an ECU reflash......

....assuming I am understanding this correctly?

Because Monkeys can swing through the trees while Groms can only crawl on the ground.

But Groms can walk on water.

We're seeing the same performance on the grom as the monkey really. I have a few people on my intake/exhaust/camshaft flash and claiming similar speeds on their daily commute which has been great feedback!

With this exhaust yes, the power stays similar to stock down low but doesn't quit pulling all the way to redline. However with a hindle exhaust or zoom loop, we could see a very different tune as well as a different power curve. The hindle usually suffers down low and shines bit more up high. More power it gets thrown at it, the more it shines as well.

It's interesting you choose the mid length intake. Any charts with the same exhaust and cam, but the short intake and tune?

Cameron, do you have comparative torque curves for these charts?

I think when my grom was stock bore, it would have a bit higher top speed without the side fairings on.

I don't have one to compare yet but will eventually. The short ram is on the gf's bike at the moment.
