I don't know that I'd want the long intake, but the medium length might do well for me.

    Nice bike!
Dinger redesigned the long one. This is the original model I have.

And this is the new model. It's shorter and more the length of the medium, and the filter is positioned sideways instead of pointing downward... a much better design. This is what I like about this guy. He is constantly improving his products.

And this is the new medium model which is like the old short one.

I have a mid vs short graph laying around, I’ll snag it off the computer tomorrow. There is definitely a seat of the pants difference between dinger short and mid length intakes. I prefer the mid length on my stunt bike for a little extra pull down low. Short ram for highway/backroad/daily

Kick around some variable length intake ideas, get the best of both worlds maybe

Wow... a new dyno! It's like getting a delivery of cocaine!

Cameron, when I can find time off from work I'll be getting my bike dynoed and will add a chart to your collection. I'm really curious what effect both a long intake and a long exhaust have on the torque curve. From daily riding I already know they don't enhance high rpm horsepower.

Yes, please do share this dyno chart when you find it! I want to build an every day bike that can do wheelies yet still do highway speeds (70 MPH max is plenty around here) when needed. That's why I'm leaning towards the mid range intake. Most of my rides are for fun on back roads. Powering out of the corners would be helped by more mid range power.

I saw the dyno post on Facebook. I'd be super pumped to get a new dyno! Congrats! I wish I was your neighbor! LOL

Me too......I could use more torque in the low RPMs.......also a higher top speed........and more mid-range power. More power! More power! (insert maniacal laugh). I probably just need a bigger bike......or a smaller waistline.

I'll have to take your word on that, Tooter, because.......I have no idea what it is like to receive a delivery of a new dyno.

I sent a email recently about a monkey reflash for th cam and a mild exhaust/intake and inquired about speedometer correction. Cant wait to see what you can do.

    Well, neither do I...

...but I understand how addictive unrestricted access to a dyno could be for someone who is curious and wants to test their ideas.
