IMHO the OEM front caliper is very poor quality with its heavy steel bracket and quick to rust pistons and bracket. I wouldn't bother spending money except to replace it with a better quality (brembo) caliper.

I'll be trying out a honda 599 caliper on the grom when I get it in October, it's a better quality piece. If that fits then I guess it would also fit your bracket.

The piston area of the front 2x25mm caliper is about the same as my P34, and I can tell you the P34 works much much better than the stock 1x27 caliper. I believe you'll like the extra power and improved pedal feel of the brake much better.

WELL I SPENT 22 bucks to see. I really don't have a problem with the stock caliper, but my front brembo is doing very well. (I know you had rust issues,. mine still looks perfect). I figure it has to be better than the stock rear one.

My front brake was performing fine but the rust issues killed it / the love for it.
