Youíll be fine. Get the Monkey and enjoy riding slow.

Iíve been riding for decades so there are no cons for me. Iím long past reaching for the next best thing in power and handling. My first bike was an 883 Sportster so there was the Ďfull sizedí bike experience right out of the gate. I donít believe youíre gonna get that when starting out on a 125. Yes, it will be hard for you to get into trouble on it. You will also outgrow it quickly. When you do get a full size bike youíll need to adjust the Ďgear selection per road conditioní choices that youíve become accustomed to on the Monkey.

Also, Part of the fun of the Monkey is that you are limited as to the roads you can take it on. As a new rider youíll lack the context needed to see this for the blast that it is since you havenít experienced the awesome freedom that is riding a motorcycle to any destination on any road you want.

The up side is that if/when you do get a big bike youíll open up a new level of motorcycling joy and freedom youíve yet to imagine.

Awesome!!! Ride her in good health. I would have expected to see the red one with what you currently have in the garage. 😂

Look behind the panel which says monkey on it your tool kit and manual should be in there. Also I got one of these https://www.amazon.com/Samsill-Regis...a-803875046842 for the registration and insurance card and used Velcro to the back of it and attached it to the tool kit.

Yeah, the owners manual should be behind the " MONKEY " panel. The dealership actually didn't know it was there and gave me another so I ended up with two.

Cons with the abs system is that it adds a lot of complexity to an otherwise basic frame design.
